Default Side muffler operating temps

Does anyone know how hot the side mufflers get? I'm considering getting them zircotec coated (different that swain, etc)

And before anyone says replace them with a side muffler bypass, been there and done that , switched back to oem side mufflers with evoms/sharkwerks headers, cats, and bypass.

Default Side muffler operating temps

Had track exhaust and as awesome as it sounded it became tiresome on long drives or stop and go traffic.

After hearing cars with side muffler bypass elbows and stock center exhaust or aftermarket exhaust for the setup, it didn't have the sound I was looking for.

The headers, carts, side mufflers, and bypass along with the Carnwal valve control was the perfect setup for me.

In case anyone is interested, this is the zircotec coatings. It's what he F1 teams use.

Not a bad idea. My only suggestion would be to make sure that the valves in the factory mufflers are removable/replaceable. You wouldn't want to have one go bad (which they do) and need to replace and recoat an entire second set of mufflers.

I've been wanting to to something drastic with my exhaust setup as well, but having a dual purpose street/track car, it can't be excessively loud. This has kept me with the stock setup.

The valves I would just remove. Also zircotec does nothing on the inside. So they would block off the openings.
