Looking at a 2010 (Silver GT3) Foreign Cars Italia in Charlotte...21k miles $117. If anyone knows anything about this car that would be great also.

They indicated the DME had been reflashed - not sure why but in the CARFAX it indicates it was done by the dealer...again not sure why.

Is this normal? Was trying to get the over rev report on it...

hmmmmmm....sometimes the DME needs to be reflashed if the car won't pass smog testing due to the OBD2 self readiness tests not completing... which is a reasonably common occurrence with these cars.

I am assuming this is a stock reflash of original PAG program for the car into the DME brain by a proper Porsche dealer...not some aftermarket flash tune...

Yeah - kinda odd but again I am sure there are lots of errors to be had with 5 owners. I was more interested in the repairs DME, instrument cluster??

I guess it is not "low" miles for a 2010 GT3 per say...but relatively low for all of that "history"

They are supposed to be sending me more data on the car...

Besides the fact the report indicates range 5 over-revs, the VIN on the DME report is not the VIN for the GT silver car...

Maybe do a true PPI using a Porsche specialist on the physical car Along with a DME report to truly verify the VIN matches . This maybe the best option to get the true story rather than jump to conclusions. This will prove the car exists and get feedback from the mechanics point of view on the DME report.

Last GT3 I saw that hit range 5 was a mis down shift and spun the cam timing gears.
