Depends on what you are intending. More OEM = Gloss. Slightly different = Satin or Mat. For street, Champion RS98's = gloss black. Ceramics keep them clean and shinny!

Mine are gloss black, nicer than satin or flat black in my opinion. I've often thought of switching to the original silver/titanium. Painting them would be a pain, swapping with another owner looking for an exchange would involve shipping, or buying a set then selling mine would also be a headache. Plus installing tires etc.

But whatever makes you happy-

I would think Gloss would hose off better. I am not a fan of flat black on any part of cars, unless it is OEM on some of of the '60's Muscle Car hoods.

I think cars are meant to be shin, not dull.

All the best...

Satin black wheels with black stems from Tire Rack, black wheel weights, black center caps, and black lug caps.

Everything on my car is black, including the roll bar and the 6 point harness. So I went with powder coated titanium on my wheels. At least that is what they call the color.

Gloss. Brake dust turns it into Matte for a few days of the week, with a fresh clean the car looks great, and then still looks great as it gets dirty and goes matte.
