I have 245's and 325's on my 997.2 GT3 (not an RS). I have had zero issues, certainly no rubbing. While I am not a track guy, I do love to hit the north Georgia / North Carolina mountain roads and this set up has felt great. As far as looks go, they do look fantastic. I am on Pilot Super Sports.
Any thoughts on mixing tires? I want to switch out my P zero corsa to cup 2's but only the fronts are ready for replacement. Any reason why not to stagger the switch?
Don't mix tires. Different performance characteristics. Can really crest a safety problem. I wouldn't do it on a clapped out 80's beater let alone a GT3

aslong as the tires on each axle match, there’s really no reason why mismatched tires would be a horrible thing. Racers do this all of the time with tires that have different heat cycle and use amounts. Any different performance characteristics would be far outweighed by the fact that the different axles also have different performance characteristics.
I tried fitting 325s and 245s Cup 2 from a 997 GTS WB on OZ superlaggeras and they were sticking way out and rubbing of course with the slightest turn. Could it be the wheels and not the tires?

I used the exact same size on my 2010 GT3. Absolutely no issues with the proper offsets on the wheels. Anyone looking... I have a set of 19" BBS E07's with PSS (245/325) for sale in the Classifieds that will work...
That's definitely due to wheels - different offset on a WB than a NB. The 245/325 tires will fit without issue on a NB, as long as the wheels are proper. I have the 245/325 PS4S on my BBS Monoblocks.

997 NB wheel fitment is:
8.5 x 19 et 53mm
12 x 19 et 68
the 997 WB fitment is (approx):
8 x 19 et 57
11 x 19 et 51
just looking at the rear wheels, the WB is a 17mm further out, closer to the fender. The WB wheel is 1" (25.4mm) more narrow, which would translate to 12.7mm less on the outside edge and 12.7mm less on the inside edge, but that would be mostly relevant if there was rubbing of a wheel on a suspension part. If the rub is at the top edge of the tire, then this 12.7mm would not matter too much.
I have 245/35/19 & 325/30/19 on stock wheels with no rubbing.
I don't wish to hijack the thread, but do any of the forum members have experience running 245/325 on the 997.1RS? I realize they came with 235/305 Sport Cups, but I would like to update to the 997.2RS sizes 245/325. I also realize the rear et is 51mm on my 997.1RS, whereas the et is 48mm on the 997.2RS. I have a 5mm spacer (oem) on the rears that can be removed to change my 'useful' et from 48mm to 53mm which is nearly identical to the 997.2 specs. The fronts are 53mm with a 8.5" wheel on the 997.1RS; the 997.2RS fronts are 57mm et with a slightly wider 9" front wheel. So you have a complete picture, the car has been upgraded suspension-wise, is stock height, wheels, and alignment specs, with no fender rolling. I plan on running Michelin Pilot Super Sport 4s, or Michelin Cup 2s. I have read all the postings regarding the NB cars, but the wheel offsets as well as the bodywork make the comparison a bit iffy. Thanks in advance.
