Be aware of the inflation on this cars because I think there is a good chance Porsche will offer the 991.2 in a MT...if that happens there WILL be a lot of 997 GT3 cars that come on the market.
Key point is - even IF they offer a 991.2 GT3 with an MT - what PROPORTION of buyers are actually going to spec the manual. Probably a distinct MINORITY imho.

True, but that minority would be the 997 owners who sold, buying them up.

Understandable, but thats by way of design and fitment no? Gearing is adjustable, so I don't see why, in theory, a MT wouldn't be good choice for the new engine. PDK would be faster in every way, but a last hurrah MT would be interesting. Unlike BMW did with the MT E60 M5, I'd assume Porsche would make sure its done right.
I've pinned my coolant pipes, lightweight flywheel and new clutch, Sharkwerks exhaust, other things. It's a GT3 with 4.0 bits. Now...its priceless....to me.....but I'll sell it to anyone who wants it for $450K!
