Key point is - even IF they offer a 991.2 GT3 with an MT - what PROPORTION of buyers are actually going to spec the manual. Probably a distinct MINORITY imho.

I don't think there is currently a dedicated manual box designed for 9A1.
simply having a manual is useless
and 9a1 was designed for pdk
not so sure it's smart to get 991-2 with stick
want stick buy now

Nam Vet, glad you are returning to fitness and starting to look longer term.... enjoy life!
I can see the attraction of old weapons... SA80's never were as much fun as the old Enfield 303 I first shot and achieved my marksmen grade with.

Understandable, but thats by way of design and fitment no? Gearing is adjustable, so I don't see why, in theory, a MT wouldn't be good choice for the new engine. PDK would be faster in every way, but a last hurrah MT would be interesting. Unlike BMW did with the MT E60 M5, I'd assume Porsche would make sure its done right.

I've pinned my coolant pipes, lightweight flywheel and new clutch, Sharkwerks exhaust, other things. It's a GT3 with 4.0 bits. Now...its priceless....to me.....but I'll sell it to anyone who wants it for $450K!

True, but that minority would be the 997 owners who sold, buying them up.

the last hurrah MT is 997.2GT3RS4.0
we dont need last last hurrah, then last last last hurrah...
