reter, did orbit repaint the whole car?
Yes, it was repainted after it came back from CA, now Orbit only painted whatever was green.

I cant tell you how many people liked the green, but too much for me.
It did set off the CF splitter and Gurney nicely but this look is great for me.

I'm going all clown on the RS, LOL.

The all-black looks badass and purposeful. A set BBS, Fikse or CCW wheels would look cool on there to replace the Cup 1's.....

BBS looks better, but I like the OEM ones as well. I have 2 sets of 18" twists for the track..

As for the Cup l on your car: they are heavy boat anchors. I'll do you a solid and buy them from you for $500. Then you can go buy some "proper" rims...... Hahaha

I dunno interesting but its a racecar;

From the seller to me:

Engine: Complete 3.6 Motor Build by Pat Williams Racing
- Balanced crank, ported cylinder head, stock 3.6 cylinders
- Elgin mild cams (titanium valve retainers Jerry Woods valve springs)
- Mahle Pistons (new Ring Set)
- Stock 3.6 injectors and intake plenum with Steve Wong chip
- Lightweight Motorsport flywheel with GT-1 Sachs clutch assembly
- Custom 6 into 1 header & B&B boxed header w/heat, Now quiet sport exhaust.
- External oil pump with braided lines
- Carrera Cup oil suction lines (for better oil access and wheel clearance)
- Produces 265 HP to rear wheels (Dyno testing available)

Drivetrain:- Transmission Build by *** Motorsports, Inc
- G50/05 gearbox spec to Carrera Cup
- RSR longer 1st & 2nd gear with Sachs GT clutch disc
- G50/10 ring and pinion (slightly lower)
- Variable Turbo 20/100 disc type LSD
- Steel synchonizers and RSR engine/transmission mounts

Chassis: Complete Chassis Setup by CPR Motorsports, Inc
- Bilstein RSR spec struts 700/900 lb springs
- Ground Control front camber plates w/strut brace and solid mounts
- ERP rear spring plates, monoballs (aurora bearing) and solid mounts
- RS adjustable sway bars with solid bushings
- Front 8x18, Rear 10x18 track Wheels with RA1 street Bridgestone 17" On CUP1

Braking System: by Wrightwood Racing, Inc

- Wrightwood racing 2-piece AP 332mm front rotors (2 sets)
- Porsche Motorsport Carrera Cup cross-drilled rear rotors
- Larger master cylinder (for very firm pedal feel)
- SST braided brake lines and improved ducting/cooling
- PFC11 Pads

Bodywork, Interior Trim and Electrical System
- Front GT Racing turbo splitter with ARP carbon fiber diffuser (includes spare)
- Rear carbon fiber 3.8 RSR deck-lid and wing/spoiler
- Fuel Safe 17 gal SST fuel cell
- Custom full cage (bolt-in)
- OMP halo seats
- Momo steering wheel
- Airbags deleted, radio deleted, I added A/C back in, works great.
- Mylaps transponder installed
- Master electrical switch installed per SCCA regulation
- Fire suppression for fuel cell, driver and engine compartment
- Window net, pedal kit, Schroth harnesses and 3point OEM

One of the best prepared RS America race cars in the country. The cage and racing components can be removed with minimal remnant. It can be restored to the original configuration.

I added the oil cooler, added custom cage, seats, refreshed interior and rebuild calipers, pained calipers red and car all black.

I've seen that about the 996 GT3 I don't know how many times!? And more often than not it came from a PCA Instructor. So if you really want to learn how to really drive a Porsche without breaking the bank the 996 GT3 would be a good selection for it lacks the nannies and the price of a good 964?
