I care more about documentation showing the history of the car than I do how many owners its had. PPI, Service Documentation, are more important than owners IMO.

This. Many times with these cars, they will be bought, driven for 1-2k, and sit in the owners garage. Repeat every year or 2 and you can see how the owners will increase almost as fast as the mileage.
