Maybe, but without a sell off in the stock market I don't see car prices collapsing.

Maybe. But an interesting data point nonetheless.

One has to assume this person 1) knows about cars 2) follows the market 3) is very wealthy 4) is no dummy

It's very interesting to me that they are selling such a special collection, and choosing to do it all at once, and right now.
