I borrowed a Durametric 6 pro from a generous RL'er and coded out my thorax airbags since I removed my stock seats and replaced them with Recaro fixed back buckets. I also coded out my TPMS at the same time using the really informative thread below.

Airbags: My airbag error light is no longer there but it still blinks about 8-10 times on start up and the stays off. I've read from some others that it blinks 3 times.

I changed the following airbag items:
Driver and passenger thorax airbags off
Driver and passenger seatbelt chimes off
AWS off



I have two error codes. When I scan for codes in each module using the durametric.

1 in the airbag module C152 "Communication PSM Control unit (drive)".

1 in the gateway module C136 "Communication AWS control unit "comfort".

Any ideas if these two errors mean anything or need to be addressed?

A friend with a Cayman who swapped seats back and forth was reporting the C136 gateway error too.

i've never pulled these codes to see on mine... I DO know my airbag light flashes about same as yours however.

Thanks for the feedback. My buddies Cayman with Sparcos flashed about 8-10 times as well. Guess it's normal.

My AWS was not turned off in the Gateway. Once I deactivated it there in addition to the airbag module the errors went away.

Still blinks 10 times and turns off even with no error codes. When you first put the key in the airbag light is solid. When the car is started it blinks then turns off.
