Love GT2.

I dont know more than 4.1L i suspect not. I like TQ to come more linear from screaming CC not Turbo on track, maybe even on the road.

But its always a special entertaining occasion to drive a GT2 with all the sounds and slechthammer power.

Its just a very special car and pretty unique compared to any other alternative.

GT2 in Oz ~$300k+ GT2RS $450k+ if you can find any.

Only one for sale at the moment GT2 in white.

http://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/de...17515109/?Cr=0

I would guess less than 10 GT2's and less than 5 GT2 RS's made it ashore to Oz.

the comment on Porsche horse power and drive train loss made me laugh... the real difference between a 800bhp mustang and a 800 bhp GT2 is weight or rather a whole lot less of it... Muppet.

exactly! Laughing my *** off literally every time I punch it. My RS was pretty fast. But it just cannot match the transporter beam effect of the G forces the 2 provides especially with Alex's EVO flash and his bypass pipes. The sound is intoxicating; the turbos spool instantaneously with the flash (lag???....right...nonexistent) and you had better have both hand on the wheel when the time space continuum has a hole torn in it with the violence and sheer animalistic response it provides.

As nice as the RS's are; they just don't touch the rawness of the Mezger truly unleashed in the GT2.

Not for the faint of heart or those with minimal skills.

Aye it's two different wines to be honest... Love them both for different reasons but next time you're here maybe have a go

Paddle shift is faster. But real drivers know how to use the clutch, and thus use the paddles better. Problem is, most US auto mag journalists are not good drivers. How can they convey the driving experience when they don't even drive competently?

FYI I use Super Sports 100% of the time now. Track or otherwise. SC off 100% street or track. TC off some of the time on track. Don't really notice it, judicious use of throttle for 300 treadwear tires is better than wearing out the rear PCCB rotors.
Haha I hear you... I think in this day and age everyone is so used the GTR etc... and autos that this bites them a bit I totally agree with you too on that last sentence... Big time!

Understood man... Well that also explains why some of the most hardcore guys we've had the pleasure of dealing with in terms of GT3s have come from down under Explains it... you'd have to be VERY passionate about gt3s there

Thanks! Any comments on drivability and what not?

Have an exhaust + tune on my 2RS. Thinking about more and not sure the stock clutch will be able to hang on if I decide to push the power level some more...

Come try mine anytime I think it's a-ok for drivability. The pedal pressure is a little stiffer than your stock RS but it can hold the power. You're likely close to the limit of the stock one with software/exhaust. A few folks had slipping occur even in stock form top of 4th.
