^^^ LOL! I am! I actually have the materials to make a set of DIY panels in my basement. I always say the easiest part of any project is buying ****.

funny, was looking at that and thinking "hmmm... that window and blind is probably pretty reflective" you'd cry if you saw how my setup is organized now. wife approved <> audiophile approved. sounds ok near field.

Yeah, in addition to room treatments, the speakers should be pulled another few feet from the back wall / window and they should be brought closer together. WAF plays heavy here. Can't complain too much as I do have a set of 6'4" line arrays (that I built over the course of MANY months) in our family room. Its far from perfect, but all audioheads know that perfect is a mountain you climb that has no top. Still I enjoy it now and again, and its fun getting to demo it for civilians once in a while.
