2010 997.2 GT3 $115,000 Prepped for Track Car
Bought this car new as a street/track car. Slowly became more track then street. Got to the point where it was going to be 100% track. After weighing all options decided to step up to .2 Cup. Now this well sorted car needs to go a new home.
Since it was primarily a track driven I figured I would freshen the motor and transmission for re-sale. (to put all those at ease who would worry about stress of track driven gt3.)
Fresh motor with only (at time of ad) 80 street driven 'break in' miles.
-Motor has light weight high compression pistons.
-RS single mass flywheel.
-ARP safety wired camshaft actuator bolts.
-Welded coolant pipes. Sharkwerks metal coolant elbow.
-gmg headers w/sport cats. (sport cats removed from housings)
-M&M muffler
-BMC filter
-GIAC software
Re-fresh Transmission:
-RS 4.0l clutch
-New bearings and syncro's.
-RS Final drive
-Guard LSD upgrade. 50/80
Suspension Upgrades:
- Cup Car Center Lock Conversion
- Cup Spec 18" CCW wheels powder coated black with Michelin Slicks.
- Front Mono Ball inner control arm bushings
- Adjustable Front Thrust Arm/Caster bushings
- Adjustable Rear Toe Arms with locking plates
- Cup Car front rotors with Pagid yellow's. Stock Rear rotors with pagid yellow's.
Other upgrades:
- GMG RSR harness bar
- Removable Center safety Net
1505 ignitions in Range 1; 94 ignitions in Range 2; 22 ignitions in Range 3.
********ALL OVER REVS RECORDED BEFORE ENGINE REFRESH*******
This is a extremely well sorted track car. Can still be street driven.
All serious offers will be considered.
Feel free to ask questions.

Any info on this upgrade:
-ARP safety wired camshaft actuator bolts.
I would be interested in exactly how this was done. If a shop did it, can you refer me to shop name/number/owner?
Thanks

Here are the pictures:
Porsche updated the camshaft actuator bolts for 2011. The updated bolt was actually the same bolt with a locktite type lock/sealent on it. We took it one step further and used a stroger ARP bolt drilled for safety wire and locktite was used as well. We wanted to make sure the bolts could not work themselves out.
All work on car was done by Sewickley Porsche near Pittsburgh PA.
thanks for the interest!
