Congrats on the purchase, it looks really sharp! Great to see another GT3.1 in BC.
And I'm betting you'll love the SW bypass.

Hey Sam

That looks pristine - congrats! I agree with comment above - you'd probably be happy with just the SWerks bypass. You can take mine out for a spin if you want a bit of a sampler.

Cheers,

Mark

Thanks Mark! Congrats on your RS too, can't wait to check it out some time!

Yeah, I was only thinking SW bypass for the exhaust, seems like the way to go. Did yours come with already, or you fit yourself?

Mike and I pulled the car's bum off 2 days after it arrived and installed it. I found a used one on this board, including the larger diameter tips. I think he'll attest to the nice noises she makes now, based on our drive a couple of weekends ago

Cheers,

M

Oh cool, that was a good find! I'll keep an eye out in case another one pops up.

Congratulations on your purchase. I also started my journey in air cooled 911s the last of which was a 993. After a year in a 997 S, I made the move to a GT3 and can tell you it's by far the best Porsche I have owned or driven. Modern enough to enjoy every day but still raw and powerful enough to make week end drives an event. I don't track mine but they say there pretty good on a road course too.

Default SW bypass installed this morning

Out with the old...

...and in with the new.

I've yet to drive it much since the install, but I'm liking the results so far. The sport button is actually useful now!

Really nice, but its amazing to me how much the centerlocks change the look of the car.

I finally installed my GT3 carbon buckets today (apologies for the dingy photo). Just need to take to take the car to have the airbag warning disabled and then I'm all set.

They're a bit trickier to get in / out of, but are so comfortable and fit me perfectly. Can't wait to try go for a drive, try 'em out proper!

What, you didn't want to drive in that hail storm this aft?

Great looking seats!

Cheers

You'll have to give them a try! Then for sure you'll want them for the RS...

I have a set of these seats waiting to install as well and I'm afraid I might need muscle relaxers to fit properly. Waiting to find the gen1 clubsport rear cage before install, fingers crossed...
