Waiting for mine to be sent to me. Ben tells me it should be by the end of the week. Will look over carefully before paying. Next covered event to be May 27 by them for 12 months.

I love the fact I can run events wherever and whenever I feel like and don't have to remember to sign up or pull out of them on the insurers website. Like running a private open track day vs a structured run-group DE event, once you've had the freedom of the open track day, you never want to go back TheOpenTrack.com indeed! Perfect website name.

Not in my policy either, think it is now removed.
Once I received my policy I was surprised to find this coverage is underwritten by Aspen which is a $3 billion dollar, NYSE listed, multinational company.

Agreed on the flexibility this offers. This allows you to do 1-day events, do any HPDE (non timed) track event at will over the policy term.
One advantage lockton does have currently, is the ability to add an additional named insured on the policy and coverage for instructors. This policy is named insured only, so be aware of that. Also, if you're not doing some # of track days annually, Lockton may be less expensive.

I was 4250 before the multi track fee. This is w/i a few dollars of what Lockton charges for a 6 pack with a 10% deductible. So, yes this is a great price if you have a $125,000 car and do more than about 6-7 events/yr.

Questions for Ben:
- if I change cars mid-stream (go from Cayman R to GT4 for example) can I transfer the policy and pay the difference? YES
- is there a minimum deductible? ontrackinsurance is 10% of the value but not less than $2500. SterlingRisk just states 5% of declared value - I didn't see reference to a minimum deductible.Deductible is straight 5% of declared value with no minimum
When I last spoke to Ben - tracks outside the U.S. were not covered (I asked specifically about Mosport). That might change but for now it's U.S. only. Canada may be added for $500 annual fee
Ben's answers are in red ^.
For the guys who bought policies - are your policies with Ben's new company: theopentrack.com? Or did you go with his former company: SterlingRisk?
Appreciate replies as I'm ready to make a decision.
