Had another talk with BBS USA. Things are percolating, and we'll keep pushing

USA is even upping the anty and willing to order a substantial amount more than we're ordering as they see the value and the fact that many will want these once they exist. Unfortunately the US guys don't have the final say...

We're continuing to push, in the mean time I've contacted a few local US companies to see if we can get a high quality forged monoblock in the sizes we need that looks very very similar to a BBS monoblock.

All is not lost, but the seas and winds are rougher than we expected...

Anyone who has contacts at quality motorsports oriented wheel companies let me know.

That sucks. Kudos to you for pressing on with this. Part of the draw for me is bbs-- not sure if I'm still in with facsimile no matter how faithful the design. Please keep my name on the list though and let's keep fingers crossed

Agreed gents. I forwarded your comments to the boys at BBS USA to forward to Germany. I think they forget there are other competent wheel makers out there and that we're not just going to buy a different BBS wheel if this one isn't made...

Hopefully they listen!

Just got word that Germany is replying to requests and is looking at our Monoblock group buy.

Also am discussing with Forgeline as a fallback position...

Would BBS produce extras in case any of us bend these? That's the problem with having rare wheels.

Yeah, BBS NA has requested more than double our current amounts in each wheel type. They'll have them in stock if it gets done!
