Car: 997.1 GT3
Mods: Akra exhaust, Manthey MM1 wheels (19") on stock MPSC's
So i was all set to finally get myself a set of nice high end coilovers (was looking at Exe-TC's or Ohlins) to cure the .1's less than ideal damping/suspension.
as many have pointed out on numerous threads, the .1 can feel unsettled over bumps/uneven surfaces; a condition that seems to have improved significantly with the .2's.
Bottom-Line: VERY HAPPY with the results.
at very low around town speeds, i really can't tell much difference. maybe a little bit of the sharpness is rounded off, but it's really not much.
however at highway and higher speeds, over dips and crests and especially over uneven surfaces, the car feels far more composed, resulting in much more confidence to maintain your speed vs backing off.
Have not tried it on track yet, but will report back when i get the chance.
Would i have been better off with a set of good coilovers? i don't know, but for the price, i would say this is a hell of a bang-for-buck upgrade, and a no-brainer for those who want an improved suspension setup w/o spending the big bucks for high end coilovers.
highly recommended!
