I was planning to put 245/35 Front, 325/30rear on my gt3.

since there are not many of 325 tires available at the moment,

I'd like to go for 245/35 front, 305/30 rear.

please tell me if this is a bad idea.

Wider front tire will give you more front grip and tend to oversteer slightly on these cars.

From a cosmetic standpoint a 245 tire on an 8.5" wheel would look a bit bloated. While a 305 on an 12" wheel looks stretched.

I run 245 and 325 on my NB GT3 with stock rims. No problems and the wheels fill the wheel well much better and look great. The 245 is the way to go. You do get a rub on the rear wheels going fast over sharp dips but not that often. I would like to try 245 front and 305 rear as well but wonder if the nannies will mind?

I run 245 front and 305 rear on my 997.1 GT3. No issues with rubbing in the front, even at full lock. Obviously no issues in the rear because it's the OEM size.

245/305 nitto on 9/12 wheels look ok but nitro 305 is pretty wide.

Guys, I am in need of new tires - front and rear. I currently ride on 235/35 and 305/25. Since 305/25's are rare, could you please suggest what tires would be ideal for daily commute to work. The hardly got 8k miles on the 305/25 I installed 10 months ago :-(.

So please advise what sizes (both Front and Rear) for a less bumpy and more longevity tires.

Go MPSS in 245/35/19 96Y and 305/30/19 on the rear, comfortable, grippy and deal with wet and should do 2x the miles you where getting if you keep of the track.

IMO Best street tire you can get... And available in all sizes listed above including 325 which is what I have.

Not only are the SS tires really good, but they last a lot longer on a street car. I had them on an 07 S Carrera, and whereas the former Rosso's were slick at about 12K miles in the rear, when I sold that car to get our GT3, at about 20K on the rears, they still had lots of miles left. I have the SS's on four of our five cars. Living in Upstate SC, don't worry much about cold weather, but have to deal with rain, esp down at the coast.

A lot of value for the reasonable cost. By the way, I have ordered from Tire Rack since they first opened, and my local Discount Tire matches their price, and are very, very careful with my cars' rims. I always take them several big pizza's, so maybe that helps a bit.

Can't help but wonder when the next generation of tires comes around in a few years how much even better they will be. Me, being an old XWX and XAS, and Cinturato and P6 guy.

now back to business :-), with some more questions

1. how would you rate the NITTO iNVO STYLE 320 tires? It has a 65k thread warranty and that means i can ride them for 6 years!!!
2. What Tire Pressure should you recommend? 32 in front, and 34 rear?
3. And finally, i dont think I can use the 245/35/19 in the front, because my current front tires 235/35/19 already touch the edges when I make FULL turns....So do you see an issue with the 235's?

I eventually mounted the NITTO tires. I feel I am flying now....It is just awesome!! The 305/30/19 and 235/35/19 were an excellent choice. I am told they should last 25-30k miles. The only issue I noticed is a slight rub by the Front tires when I make Full turns....

But all in all, your input was very helpful and prompt.
