Love your videos Joe! No one is going to make fun of you until they can catch you, so don't worry. [So, I guess only Ben?]

Looking at the video confirms my concern for how good this 991 GT3 is. I've never driven Somona, but looking at the high speed turns and the stability of your car, it looks like if one were to push too hard (because of the car's capability), you could end up getting into trouble easily at the limit.

991 GT3 is comfortably faster than all 997's. However, after you're comfortable in the car and start exploring limits, that's where my concern would be. We're all human and I'm not getting paid for my lap times.

Be safe out there! Great video and solid driving!

Stock mpsc2 tires. They are at least as sticky as NT01 if not a touch more. They also seem to handle the heat longer than NT01

Nice video joe. note at turn 5 on the right of the track of your video you see a trail that goes into the hill and lands on bottom. that's where the miata somehow lost it at 4, climbed up the hill and came down at the end of one of our sessions.

Joe, judging by what's outside my window, you must be channeling your inner Senna today (if you're still there). Too bad about the crappy weather.

Have fun and be safe!

Which Miata? (Color). There were 2 there that were totally clueless and belong in the intermediate/beginner group. It only took 2 laps to lap them.

I had the day until Ben goes out at the last session and beats me by 0.64 seconds. Bastard!

Hoping to see everyone at a dry track day next time!
Nice meeting you Joe and the other RL guys on Sat. I think I need a 991 GT3...sounds sick. Thanks for showing me where I can pick up some speed!
