^Weren't these cars featured in a Porsche magazine article a few years ago? I recall the writer comparing steering feel and handling between them when the gen 1 was on road tyres and the gen 2 on semis.

Yes, they were. These photos were from the shoot. I wrote the feature for the magazine. Both are great cars It was fun to compare them

really nice photography, and great looking cars, and the road they are sitting on looks like a really enjoyable drive. I re-read the Excellence article just the other day.

All the best....

The black one in person had a lot of swirls. It needed a good detail. The owner of the Gen 1 painted his wheels as you can tell. I was going to do the article on my gen 2 and a gen 1 orange but the gen 1 orange driver was unavailable at the time of the shoot. Personally I like the orange rather than black but all GT3RS's are beautiful

Thank you very much for the kind words. Yes, the road was terrific although it was November was over 95 degrees which was a little too hot for a photo shoot but it still came out great. I have included the mag cover for Total 911 article.

Nice! I remember when that was published.

I have a good friend who recently moved to Temecula and he keeps inviting me to visit. With those roads, I'm very tempted to take the RS and go visit!

Vivian.
