There are some terrific roads going from Temecula through North San Diego County to East San Diego county. Palomar Mountain is one of them or over to Palm Desert off Highway 79. Lots of twisties for a GT3 to enjoy

Good to know, thanks.

If I recall, didn't you write an article about great driving roads in So Cal? Same issue?

Happy hols!

Vivian.

Default Obsessed!

Absolutely stunning!

At first, I thought I was seeing my former Black/orange #2463! Reminds me of what an idiot I was to ever sell it. I was fortunate to pick up silver/orange #2818, but sure wish I had them both side by side.

Still looking for a .2RS, but have temporarily settled for a mint Basalt black .2 GT3 next to the .1RS.

You have excellent taste in those two RS's are it's nice to see the passion for these incredible cars among this great group!

Maybe a socal RS meetup in the cards?

Hi Vivian,

Yes, I wrote a great road article in that issue. I have written several other driving road articles for Total 911 but all are in Southern California. I hope you are enjoying the magazine.

Best wishes for the new year!

Glad you like the photos. The photos were taken by Andy Tipping from the UK. He and I worked together for the shoot. He took some amazing photos of my turbo at the beach in San Diego One of which I have shamelessly included below. :-) The black 2007 GT3RS belongs to another guy who was kind enough to allow us to shoot his the car and for me to drive and compare it to my Gen 2 RS. I believe he bought his from the Midwest but I could be wrong. I would like to own two GT3RS cars but I am fortunate to own one. . I have had quite a few people ask to buy my 3.8 RS but I won't sell it. I am in love with her! :-) A few weeks ago in Carlsbad Cars and Coffee we had 3 of them. Two Gen 1 and my Gen 2. They really are beautiful works of art. I can't wait to see the new one. Would love to see a Socal RS meeting sometime. Please keep me posted if it happens. I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays. Best, Tony

Yes, they are fine works of modern art. I am addicted to them as we all are! My wife supports my addiction fortunately!
