car i just picked up has a nice quick release race wheel on it that i would like to replace with a stock RS steering wheel. Need the airbag as well.

Mooty had an airbag....maybe sold. Suncoast has the wheel. There were 2 options for these cars. Xpa leather or alcantara with the stripe. You can also get any sport wheel from the .1 cars and have it refinished by dallas steering wheel. You will need your computer programmed for airbag unless they just used a load resister.

Keep the quick release wheel. I love my quick release. Do you have the horn function in your quick release wheel?

I have Works Bell Rapfix II hub with 997 OMP Cup wheel and NRG quick release.

Both red buttons are horn function.
No teather cord needed.

my wheel does have a horn button, but not currently hooked up.I definitely need to set up some contacts for tetherless horn hook up. main reason i am looking for the stock wheel is for street safety as i'm likely to drive on the street more often then track.

Think of it like a Jeep. Compared to my Cobra it is a Volvo.
