My wife used to tell her friends she never knew what she might find in the garage. Always operated on 'it's easier to get forgiveness than permission.'

My GF hates the GT3 as well. I guess it's a common problem with the ladies...

On the rubbing, mine may be touching but I don't really hear any squeaking.

somethings are worth fighting for.
she chooses vacation spots, i just dont go often
she chooses what we eat, i avoid the green leafy stuff.
she chooses where kids go to school, i just pay.
she chose odyssey over the pepper i bought her.....
but my car are my way or high way. but explaining to her why GT3 is needed i like smashing your head against the great wall of china hoping it wall would fall.... i just buy and not report. i have friend's car parked here often so much so no one really know who owns which car. thus none of them are mine.

he hates all my cars, apparently my driving upsets her stomach. and you should see her grab door handles as i get within 1 car length of the car ahead before i tap brake. on ramps, watching her face is like E ride. looks like she just saw devil at the gate of hell.

I'm lucky. My wife loves riding in my rs. It's loud my ohlins are dialed up super stiff. It's not very comfortable. She loves the pole positions. She calls them her cocoon Usually falls asleep and takes a nap within 30 mins. Usually goes on canyon runs with me too. She never complains or questions my cars. Of course I don't question the vacations she plans or the clothes or the anything. It works well for us.

Lol! You're in much worse shape than I am then. At least she sometimes rides in my car and I try to avoid going too fast.

i dont drive fast when she used to ride with me.
but it was her who got me on porsche streak.
we went on a drive decades ago in my E36/8, one of my fav bimmers
spend every penny of my stipend on it. babied it.
she barf'd in it after drive.
she spend all weekend cleaning it (we weren't married yet, now she wont clean my cars). but just doesn't smell new anymore. so she bought me a new 2002 boxster S (i guess her grad school stipend was bigger than mine).... well, the boxster S led to .......

but it's all her fault getting me into porsches.

My GT2 seats don't squeak.
My wife has no desire to get in the RS. She's been on it twice. She doesn't mind my car obsession though. That is good.

I have a turbo with GT2 seats in it that rubs against the center console. So I went to my friendly Velcro sales center and bought myself a nice 3" wide sticky back Velcro, loosened the seat, placed the soft Velcro on the center console. It is barely noticeable and the squeaking is gone. The squeaking was only happening on the passenger side for some reason. But now, problem solved ;-)
