DSC going in today...
Just waiting on the man in the brown truck to show up so I can finish the 3-axis accelerometer wire splicing/soldering and go try it out. 2008 .1 GT3
From those who have tried it thus far with stock suspension setups, it may answer some of my complaints. We shall see

Installed mine late last night. Have only driven 500m to make sure it was functioning properly. Looking forward to taking it for a decent spin!

Well, it's in.
While my soldering skills are a little rusty, splicing the 3-axis accelerometer in was no big deal.
Buttoned everything up. Car didn't ahsplode.
Took it down a particularly bumpy surface street at 45-50mph where it bounces around like a yo-yo in the stock config, and it really is a LOT more planted -- not Cadillac sort of smooth, but the more predictably "flat" that inspires confidence rather than fist tightening on the steering wheel.
I'm about to go hit the freeway and see how the undulating wave machine that is the 87 feels.
So far, quite happy.

OK, so the freeway handling is even better than I thought the street was. The best way I can describe this will likely sound a little heretical, but it's the best comparison I can give...
When I had Sharkwerks prep my 2011 Cayman S, we did Bilstein PSS9's, H&R sway bars, the Level 2 RSS Tarmac kit, etc. That car handled like a Tron light cycle and when I hit a freeway expansion joint, rather than the stock behavior of front taking the hit (and then not enough rebound) and THEN the back doing the same with a see-saw effect, the entire car just felt like it went up and landed as one with no drama.
With that example in your head -- with no harshness or see saw motion -- that's exactly what a stock GT3 suspension with position 1 on the DSC feels like: sorted, planted, stable and a really great balance to the car. It takes away the twitchiness.
ALSO, a particularly tight decreasing radius right-hander which I take at speed usually has the front end pushing/hopping...not anymore.
I'm no track junkie (yet) but I have to tell you that this is how the PASM should have come from the factory...
YMMV, but so far with the SW bypass, the EVOMSit remap, and the DSC, this is really a fun daily driver.
My thanks to Tom @ TPC who went out of his way after the shop closed to ship me my unit on his way home so it would get here today. Thanks man.

You press the stock PASM button and cyscle through the 3 modes. Mode 1 indicator light is solid, in mode 2 it blinks twice every few sec. and in mode 3 it blinks thrice (?) every few sec.
Easy-peasy.
