My PFC08 make some noise, but are pretty quiet on street. They are louder when hot.

If you want something that is completely silent on street and provides good occasional track use, try the Brembo TS20 pad. Any Brembo retailer can get them (Sharkwerks in norcal). They don't have the grab of the PFC08 but work well on track, and are great on street. I think they are close to the Endless ME20 pad, which is really good also. Little dust too.
