Default 2013 GT3 4.0 $499,000 with 509 miles!

Do you think it's a little excessive for this car? Obviously it's being held by a collector but half a million dollars(?) Is just crazy. Don't collect them, drive them!

Here is the URL at duPont

http://www.dupontregistry.com/autos/...rs--4.0/750578

Below that GT3 4.0 is an GT2RS with 900 miles at $360K, and there is what half as many of them produced, don't know exact numbers here, but I just don't get the over inflation in value with the 4.0. That GT2RS is a litttle on the heavy side.

If you by it and dress it up in a pajamas for 15 years you probably made yourself half a million! dollars But it's more fun driving it!

Regardless of the details I think it's to early for those prices... By quite a large margin.. However, It's impressive that they can bring that type of demand already, definitely something to have in a long-term collection.

No need, bubble wrapped 4.0 like this would probably be 350-400K car in todays market. If PTS a little more if you find the right buyer. Just my $0.02

If you were a 4.0 buyer here in Australia, you'd probably tip the seller.... It's going rate.

In US it seems a little excessive yes... Good for 4.0 owners

It must be absolutely 5hitty down in OZ to buy foreign cars when it comes to cost.

Do cars produced in Australia cost too much as well?

no, aussie cars were cheap and protected all the years, but yes, now they cost too much to manufacture, the local industry is on the way out.

The car is in Germany, maybe it's the price in the German currency?
