TPC product: DSC (Dynamic Suspension Control)

I went with the MCS 2-way with remote as this is what my shop supports and recommends. http://www.motioncontrolsuspension.com/products.html There are a lot of options; MCS, JRZ, Ohlins, etc. I would pick a brand based on what your shop has experience with as you will want them to support the product. You will want to change the springs while you are in there. I think I went 700/800 but will need to dig out the set up sheet to be sure. Best mod ever. Not cheap, but transforms the car.

Please be advised that even though DSC functions the same on all 997 models the different models do have different CAN(Control Area Network) ID codes to "handsake" with the instrument cluster, just as the factory PASM boxes do. Not all models are interchangeable. As a result of non-interchangeable CAN ID codes, DSC will still function as intended but there will a PASM fault message displayed on the instrument cluster. For that reason, it is important to get the DSC coded for your model.

Tom, we have exchanged pm's. I'm very interested in picking one up but still waiting for a local to get it so i can see it first hand, or some big shots in the 997 section to give feedback. I'm patiently waiting.

Also would like to see the mounting of the gyro sensor for the .1 cars.
I actually think the turn in / suspension on the .1 is pretty sh*tty so am looking for ways of getting it a bit more confidence inspiring while still making it street friendly
I'm happy to be a tester and run a day with and without this at Sears etc.

Not sure this is useful, but the Damptronics spring rate for the kit sold for the GT3 is 350/570 - I got that data directly from Bilstein California when I re-valved my shocks - I would have thought the front rates might be the same on the GTS shocks if the rears are also identical.

DSC will work with Damptronics and on a GTS. The standard Damptronic spring rates are ~260/570. DSC will make the car perform as if it had 450/650 springs only when the chassis is loaded during braking and cornering.

What are you thoughts on upgrading the units until such an option is available, and a trade-in program for early adopters once/if such becomes available?
Thanks
