Sweet looking car. I love it with black wheels, the rear cage and no decals. Looks great and congrats!

You do realize that PCA is at Thill on Sept 6-7? We'll be running the full 5 mi track :reckon: See http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.c...E#.U-fl1Fa5aro

About two and a half years and 20,000 miles later, we're still in love. Unfortunately, I have been traveling most of this year, so have barely used the RS, but I've been making up for lost times in the last couple of weeks. Another run on 58 a couple of days ago, and a picture from the same spot.

I was lucky enough to drive some amazing cars at a track day the other week; 430 scuderia, SLS black series, GT4, and 991 RS. All great cars in their own right, but at the end of the day it just made me realize how really special the 997.2 RS is. Nothing has quite the same spark, or provides the sense of connection that the RS does. It continues to be the car that I'm happiest to be able to drive home and park in my garage. She's a keeper.

Nice ride. I've done the 58 before but not in my GT3. Great road for sure

That is an impressive set of cars to compare it against. And I'd have to agree, the 997 Gt3/rs's don't have a close equal for modern performance and old-school feel. I currently have a 991rs in addition. it's an insane car, and who knows how long I'll have it? But my 997 RS's will be my daughters problem to sell one day.

My love affair for my own '10 3.8 RS will also never die. I honestly feel like the car gets cooler all the time, which only makes sense when I see cars like the '73 2.7 RS and I think "wow, they just don't make them like that anymore". Our 997.2 variants are headed right for a similar space, and are just timeless cars...capable of invoking feelings among real enthusiasts as few cars ever could.

Congrats on the mileage. You're reminding me it's been far too long since I've done the LA loop drive.

I'm all about decals on an RS but can't get over how great yours looks without them. Enjoy!
