When I'm in Scottsdale, I try and make the Gainey Ranch C&C, and also the smaller version at the Penske Musuem... have seen some incredible machinery especially at the Gainey show, but never the 4.0. My younger son, who also lives in north Scottsdale says he frequently sees a 4.0 being driven on Hayden and Pima. I have only passed one other GT3 on the street when driving mine around Scottsdale. Seems like every other car is a regular 911 or Panamera though...

In case the dozens of positive replies aren't enough: DRIVE IT!
If you can make the time, plan a great cross country trip. Could go high roads across Canada (Lake Louise, Banff, et al), northern US (Dakotas, Bad Lands, et al) or head down south and across past Utah and/or New Mexico.
Maybe take in a bit of DE or track time if the schedule happens to suit. Maybe a minor league baseball game. National parks. Microbreweries. Small towns, resorts, whatever. Hit some famous roads and perhaps a few small cities (like KC or whatever).
Take a friend... or your wife or girlfriend (but not both)... or a child.
Print the list of Porsche dealers along the way in case of trouble (especially if you have CLs and don't want to futz around with them).
Good luck, take pics, tell stories.
And your Atom is a fantastic ride, I spend most of my time in the UK and see them around.
I've had my share of issues with valet parking idiots, dealer joy riding, and transport damage. I'll do the damage myself, thank you.

There's been a 2011 in my garage in Iowa since new.
I would also say drive it! My son and I purchased the car in central IL and drove the 4&1/2 hours back to our home splitting the driving time while the other drove the Armada behind looking at the RS.
We both still remember the experience fondly.

If you ship it, make sure you are using a covered transport and don't use a broker... I've had the worst experience shipping cars. Decided to drive my new RS back from Seattle to Los Angeles.. Priceless QT with my new ride. BTW... make sure you tape up your quarter panels and hood to avoid rock chips.
