Default iPE innotech exhaust for 997 GT3

Just got this iPE exhaust installed on 997.1 GT3 iPE offers Catted version & Catless version and I went with catless version.

I have had iPE system on my previous cars E92 M3, R35 GTR and I just loved their exhaust note and quality.

Here is a video I just recorded couple hours ago

If you are interested in iPE exhaust don't hesitate PM or email me darrenyoo81@gmail.com and I will try to get you the best deal possible. No I am not a shop, I just happen to be good friend with iPE distributor

That's crazy! I could only imagine driving that on the street, throwing out a puff of fire and getting pulled over and cited with the big no no ticket. NO CATS!

iPE comes with vacuum controlled valves and two remotes. It's pretty amazing. You can open close the valve instantly. So daily driving is not an issue and no drone. But when you want to open up simply press the ON button. I will post another video showing the valves open/close

Looks like a cool set up. Are the two exhaust banks "merged" at any point? One of the things I really like about the gt3 is the distincitve sound that I'm told is the result of the merging of the two banks (ala the center muffler or a bypass). Don't think I would be able to do an exhaust on this car that does not retain that feature.

Man you are wasting no time in modding this one! Had this what, a week and a half?!

Sounds nice, and I must admit I do like the Fast N Furious flame throw there.

I think you would get meatballed just driving onto the grounds at LS with that thing on though.

Here is a picture of one of the setups as I had considered it a long time ago:

https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...-exhausts.html

Im not sure if IPE is making the exhausts themselves now, but Scorpion Tuning was who was originally making them for IPE, and they also selll a similar system. Regardless, seems like a nice system. Lots more options now in the exhaust world. Would be cool to get a dyno of this setup.

Heres a few videos of the IPE/Scorpion in motion:

From what I know, Scorpion wasn't making exhausts for iPE, it was other manufacture who also build systems for Amuse ericsson. Scorpion happen to got a hold of their system without the ipe or Amuse label and started selling them on ebay and few forums which they got caught quick.

Video you posted is same exhaust as mine Plus the cats. Mine is significantly louder yet really clean sound.

This video of my old M3 will show you how the valves work. It really open/close instantly. This was my first experience with iPE, fit, quality and sound was mind blowing.
