The Hands Together for a Cure Knox Mountain Hill Climb is over. What a great success!
Below is a link to a You Tube video that Bruce Watts put together from the Knox Mountain Hill Climb this May long weekend in Kelowna B.C.. Bruce is the father of Cole who is a 12 year old cancer survivor. They placed a Go Pro camera in the car to capture Cole’s ride of a lifetime. At the top Cole said it was the most fun he has ever had in his life. When we reached the bottom he had tears running down his face he was so happy to have gotten a ride. Obviously a Porsche fan!
"Hands Together for a Cure" is still taking donations.

Yes, yes it is. Fun to watch Cole move around with the g-forces. You can even see him shrink into the seat under braking. Each rider gets strapped into the harness and cinched as tightly as possible.
All in all a fantastic weekend and I met some amazing people and families.

Completely agree. Coles dad did the video. Stay tuned for another video coming. trying to put together a video to send out to all those who took the ride as a bit of a momento of their experience.
Thanks for watching

What was very interesting is how technology and design has helped the performance of these cars. I had been running the hill for 14 years trying everything, including a sports psychologist, to beat the 2 minute mark in a heavily modified 1982 911 that was very well sorted out. Closest I got over the 14 years was a 2:00.012. Running the hill in the GT3 with some suspension changes, RSS, GT2 rear bar etc and a proper alignment and a 1:59 run with a passenger is well with in 80% of both me and the car.
The limits of the GT3 are very high indeed. There is a life time of learning.
I am hoping to get a formal HTFAC video developed before the fall. Will share it with everyone once it is done.
Thanks again for the great comments.
Two more HTFAC fundraising events and then I will shut it down till next year.
