as for the PCCBS, yes these are my first set. They are pretty loud but I don't mind it.

it was a beautiful day and couldnt resist but to go for a drive along the coast. Loving it so far, coming from an E90 M3, I feel more connected with the GT. It feels like a race car out of the box. I'm in love.

... and regarding PCCB squealing ,... I was worried about that before I bought my .2 / 3, but now after 2 years I have never heard mine squeal..... not when they are cold, or very warmed up on hot days last summer, or wet or dry, never. Then again I jam on them pretty hard when I'm spirit driving,... but also only on the street (ie maybe they would if I tracked it). I'm no expert when it comes that.
I've now since also wondered if that has anything to do with how the PCCB rotor & pads were bedded-in when brand new.

this is the one that started it all for me. And the last time I had 1-911 . I had never been all that impressed with 911s or Porsche-in-general. I had driven a few turbos (back when that meant one car; a 911 turbo) and newer non-gt 911’s, and thought: meh? I thought the Italians got emotion and Porsche was a soulless, but fast appliance. I had friends that were big AC’'d nuts but back then, but the thought of an “old” car sounded too impractical. One day when my family was out shopping, and i had too much time on my hands, i decided to test drive a gt3 at nearby dealer (I still have no idea what caused me to do it?). I was completely hooked as soon as I pulled out of the parking lot. My very next move was to calculate driveway clearance . I first became a 997 gt nut (and have since lost count) and later started to explore up/down the porsche offering (and have since lost count). But, this is the one that started the passion/affliction. I’ll forever remember how it smelled, sounded, felt. Since I can’t drive anything sitting in NYC right now (which is torturous because NO ONE is on the road), I started flipping thru old pics. Here’s hoping we are back on our feet and behind-the-wheel soon.
rrichmondd, yours brought back memories.

Finally met my hero and bought her!
Never did I think I'd end up in a .2 GT3 and in this particular car, nor did I imagine getting the chance to buy it from Doug! Thanks to Doug and Switchcars!
P.S. tire stickers have been removed!
