You can change that tank yourself.

What a mess. So you're saying that the new tank was faulty?

Either that or something was not reattached properly. We shall see.

Just curious, do you prefer your dealer for service over an independent? I’ve been using an independent for the GT3, but have also considered using the dealer, for the convenience aspect. There’s also two very good techs and I’ve considered reaching out to see if they’d be willing to do smaller jobs (oil changes) as side work.

Didn't know that was a thing. I'm learning as I go. I'll ask before taking it home.

Both, so far. Dealer is less than 10 miles from me and one of the best in the country. Indie shop is about 40 minutes away and less convenient, but have and will do the majority of the work I want. This particular item happened to go to the dealer. I trust both shops, but the independent guy will get as much of it as possible.

I’m in a similar position. 2 independents, one 20 mins from me that I use for certain items, one an hour from me that I use for larger jobs. Dealer is 15 mins from me, but you get a loaner, It’s so much easier. Yes you pay slightly more, but the convenience for me can be well worth it.

Eric, I still want a set of 19" E88's, matte black faces and gloss black lips. If the wait isn't over 6 months, I'm ready.

met up with a friend of mine (another rl member too) to work on the car. Plugs, coils gear oil completed. Porsche really torques down those filler plugs haha.

his white .1 is awesome too! Thx for the help Brett!
