Well @GSXR750 goes up pretty much every Saturday 8AM meeting at the Target parking lot with my buddy Geoff. I have a hard time missing breakfast but have gone a couple times. @RAudi Driver was talking about something this weekend maybe but I don't think he has his wheel/tire situation figured out yet. If you guys want to set a time here coming up the more the merrier.

The best thing about the 8am crowd is zero cops, the worst thing is missing all the fun car watching at Newcombs that early.

I'm usually there and gone from the meet up spot around 630-7ish. 8am means there's more traffic and more cops from what I've observed, and it gets worse and worse as the day drags on of course.

Yeah the morning is much better this time of year too with the heat.
Next time I find myself in LA for the weekend I will chime in on that thread

 

I've blasted by cops parked perpendicular to the road, like they are gunning' for ya, at triple digit speeds too many times to count. Never once, pulled over or ticketed. I've asked them about it and the answer, "This stretch is kinda self regulated. You pay the price if you go too fast", meaning you go over the cliff. 7am is the latest time you should be starting your climb if you want to go fast. 8am and you have to wait till after red box till the traffic thins out and you can fly.

Whatever the case is, I'm free this weekend. I'll drive up with my crappy tires. Just won't be going as fast as you folks. I'll try to adjust my ride height and self align the car before the weekend, if I can.

 

I’m lucky enough to live close to the Crest so I usually go up during the week around lunch time. Pretty much no traffic, cops are not as active as during the weekends, and if you get stuck behind a car, it’s usually a local who will let you through.
Went up today and it was a blast, as usual.
