Default New Hoosier Offering - A7?

Does anyone experience with this new A7 tire? The sizes aren't for our cars yet and weirdly Hoosier's website doesn't seem to mention this new compound...

A January 2014 press release seems to mention a "[new] fabric, higher cornering speeds and better durability". Initially available for Spec Miatas and may be rolled out to other fitments...

Contact Brian (4forme) about the A7.
btw I'll need to contact Dan @ Finspeed to get up to speed on things. A few months ago he had told me about an awesome wheel design soon to be available.

Yeah I'll take them in both 18s (for the cup) and 19s!

I spoke to a Hoosier engineer last week and the first tires were to qualify A7s for auto crossers. The R7s will be coming most likely after mid-year with our sizes (GT3/RS) arriving later this year. I am looking forward to the new compound, the new compound should great.

Probably one of those light relics that weigh as much as the rear end of my car.

Nope

But my antique is 2.300 lbs fill of fluids, with driver

Tire management is much different...sometimes it is a struggle to get them up to temp

Probably going to start running a6 as a sprint race tire

The Lotus guys would run the A6 since they couldn't get the R6 up to temp in most cases. A good problem to have.
