U crash rsa again...ugh that suck

 

Nah no crash just a weight reduction strategy

 

Doesn't look like a crash. I had my own *** pucker moment when my brakes went into ICE mode going the turn before the front straight with me going 125mph and about a 1-car length behind a vette who was braking hard. I cut to the left (should have done it to the right) and almost t-boned him as she came out of the turn. Thankfully he was a good driver and saw me and dodged me with no incident to either car.

 

I was wondering where that light come from on the track. It just fell out?

 

Any lap times to report?

 

All drivers were nice to just drive around it wo destroying it throughout whole PM session. I thought it was a dead bird

 

Don't know what it means but 2:09's so far.
Shooting for 2:08 tomorrow, I think there's not much more I can do safely.
Many days to go so not the time to get overly brave.

A fast time here in a 3.8RS is 2:00?

At Sebring I'm 2:28 so 8-10 secs so RS on Nitto's roughly.

 

Than they sent out the next groups without debris flag. Game over light.

2:09 in the RSA is damn respectable. 2:00 flat for 1CW is flat out quick.

Arrived late at the track so went on track behind the slower cars so no clean laps
Still ran 2:08 on the only clean lap, but the track was 2:07, maybe 2:06 if I had no traffic laps. one more shot at improving time before it gets warmer.

 

Local fast guy just pulled me to a 2:07 in his 964.
Than I cooled the tires trying to keep up with Mooty, I lost them but kept them in sight running several 2:08's.

It will be too hot but on a cold morning my car is for sure good for a 2:06

 

Peter, is this your first time driving buttholewillow? Congrats on the 2:07, that's moving.

 

First time any track in CA.
I got lots of help and pointers from the locals.
Just to know what curb to is huge.
