Trakcar Mancation 2014 California

That's Trakcar out there at Sonoma, pounding out the laps
Jesse is now racing anything that has wheels
Sonoma was fantastic, such a gorgeous day!
The paddock was full, as always with a NASA event

The car is being fixed today so took the rental and went sight seeing in California today.
The traffic was tragic but the Shark scenery and weather was beautiful and the people genuine :-)
A few pictures worth moving to California for, Alex and the rest of the guys were kind enough to show me around and take a lot of time out of their busy day to talk GT3's with a fan.
Great to have actually have set foot in the place where it the magic happens, put my greasy paws on the awesome 4.1Sharkwerks RS and meet the guys in real life. The passion is clear, these guys are the real deal, but we knew that already.

Yes, black is beautiful now :-) I should have ordered a black one and wish I could have kept it even more LOL.
I'm surprised how many people comment on how nice the RSA looks with all the green **** on it.
People love the looks of that car. It looks OK to me.
Flatout Sonoma in the RSA on Nitto's should be low 1:50's for sure.
I don't know my fastest lap, have not looked yet, but I saw 1:58 once when I looked at Start finish.

Yeah, not sure what happened there, but I run with the Trillium chapter (different group @ Mosport) all the time, and they are a good bunch, actually pretty easy going. You should come up some day.

Just arrived at LS. Gate closed. 16% grade towards the Gate made sure my transmission saw the highest temps ever and the truck was not happy!
I was warned about nasty track personal and the ******* at the gate confirmed the warning was justified. No cars on track only nutty Californians riding bicycles on the race track. Like the twilight zone.
The Nice Hyatt Regency spa and resort advertises that they have RV and truck and trailer parking, so I decide to not drop the trailer at track.
I get there and see a few hundred Porsches and realize this is the Porsche Parade and all parking is taken. I had already driven in so I'm blocking 50 or so people and their Porsches in before I check in and get rid of my luggage and back out all the way down the hill and block the entire entrance to the resort for about 20 minutes to wiggle the truck and trailer into the last available parking space that fits. It was like putting a round peg into a square hole and a dozen Porsches blaring their horns. WTF?
Almost broke out a sweat only to walk to my room to find out they have no AC LOL. Instead they have a "mild Monterey weather" available in the room
The left coast is weird but the track looks fun!
