Great choice. The 997 chassis will take 9s and 12s, so don't go backwards with 996 widths. I have set of Fikse Profil 13s for sale if you have any money left over.

I hear ya! I have a little left over, but if I want to avoid an even bigger hit following the divorce proceedings, I better leave it in the bank for now (last night she mentioned a new bedroom set with a wry smile...I really had no response to that!) The original plan was to sell my 996 turbo as well, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Two is better than one!

Wow...my twin! Now I just need a rollbar and a sharkwerks sticker.

I have discovered one drawback of the car...I have recieved exactly two cards from "financial planners" in the past 200 miles! One at the gas station this morning.

Unplugged the connector that controls the exhaust valves this morning. The sound is great...no drone at all, and best of all, the annoying "tick over" where it goes from low to high volume is gone! Best free mod ever!

Ha, yup!! Call Sharky, he'll hook you up!
Enjoy your new ride!!! Yes, the red gets a lot of attention... Sometimes unwanted attention.....

Ohhhh yeah!!! Only way to run it..... Un plugged!! Awesome sound!!

Great color combo for sure. I really like the GT3 wheels shiny black.

I have the switch to go from "plugged / unplugged" and makes a cool mod. Sometimes you just want a quieter ride, however not sure how it will all work out after installing my Sharky Bypass- waiting to finish my Laguna Seca event next month first.

Wry smiles are a lot better than furious recriminations. A friend of mine had to deposit the equivalent of his car stuff in his wife's jewelry fund. Eventually she became a driver but... I would buy the furniture if she really wants it.
