Default NT-01 temperature question

About to put on nittos for the first time on 2010 gt3. Going on to track for first session what would be ideal pressure setting (running 18" wheels) and coming off track what pressure level should i regulate the tires to? Any other advice about these tires is more than welcomed

I just worked in a new set of 245/305s on 18" and started around 26 then regulated to 33/35hot. Seemed pretty good for first time out.

Let us know what you think of them-

The 1st couple of sessions are going the be a little loose until you get some heat through them. On my 6 GT3 I start out at 30 cold all around and shoot for 36 front 38 rear hot.

on my Carrera GTS but with stuffer (GT3 like) Bilstein Damptronics....NT01 at 32/33 hot work great. Anything above 34 hot seems to lose grip. I start out at 26 all around and adjust from there.

Otherwise known as tire pressures are like girls. Some like them hot and high pressure and some like the cooler low pressure models.

My pressures are set by hot tire temps from Pyrometer readings as well as my camber.

32/34 hot. Usually drop 8 psi cold before first session and keep an eye on wear line throughout the day. Have fun!

I agree with 32 to 34.lbs hot.

The pressures climb very quickly. I had mine climb 10lbs in 7 laps.

Ditto. 32/33 is good, if rear gets 4-5 psi more than front you will feel it.

Do any of you guys run nitrogen? I do, and feel it's worth it. Temps fluctuate 50% less than regular air.

It is more typical for top tier of autocross and for diff reasons as at AX you overheat tires from the outside and it happens very fast compared to track.
