Default Help - Need Track Day Tires

I'm not that good at math... so need a little help.

My NT01 have 2 more days on them, I have several events coming up, NT01 is backordered in the 305 sizes. UNFORTUNATELY I also noticed what may look like the beginning of a split on one rear. My last set were fine down to slicks. Not happy.

First... is running 315 NT01 an option? My car has TC only, not PSM. I leave TC on still (I'm intermediate driver). It is almost an inch smaller in diameter than 305.

If not, what is the short list? My preference is an r-comp or something close to it that is going to fit on my 18" rims. They are 9" front and 12" rears. USC has a bunch of 335 RA1, due to the offset of my 18" wheels and setup I'm not 100% sure these are going to fit w/o rubbing, they are quite a bit wider than the NT01. I will check fit these to be sure.

What are my other options in 18's (not interested in hoosiers) that I can drive to/from track with.
I know R888 isn't very well liked here, but is this an option? The sizing is perfect.
Anything else? Which sizing?

Our wheels are basically the same offset and RA1s run narrow. I wouldn't be surprised if they are only 15mm wider than the 305 NT01. Throw my wheels on and drive around BBI. Other solution might be to go more negative camber to help with clearance. You can always run R6s or BFR R1s if we do the arrive and drive program.

Another option would be getting a set of RS3s. I had them on my white GT3 and they performed fairly well for not being R-compound tires.

335 is awfully wide. I'd be more comfortable at 315. If you think you can get the sizing to work, the 265/335 combo is popular in the BFG R1. This sizing keeps the back tire .75" taller so is computer system friendly. For overall grip it's awfully hard to pass on the Hoosiers, but the BFG will offer better life.

We don't carry the Nitto's, but I can help with BFG and Hoosier. Please give me a call if I can help.

RA1 will work, it's almost identical in size to the Nitto 305...it's a big 305.

That's what I told him...I had NT01s stacked up next to RA1s and there wasn't much of a difference in width...may 10-15mm if that. Should fit is my guess.
