P.S. Not willing to rank 991 GT3 until I spend more time in them
This is a great list. Would it be a good idea to rank all gt3 class racers available to this list? I would love to see that.

Stout +1

He's probably spent as much time back to back to back with these cars as anyone.

For the money the .1RS with a bypass and some slight suspension mods is the best sounding/performer going.

The 4.0 is the ultimate 911.

About 1,000-5,000 miles in each, I'd guess. That may be a little conservative. I suspect Mooty has more miles than that...and many, many, many more track hours in each. There may be others here, as well.

I taste test. Mooty eats. Fast.

I would go with:
1. 997.2 GT3 RS 4.0
2. 997.2 GT3 RS 3.8
3. 996.2 GT3
4. 997.1 GT3 RS

I agree with this list. I still own my 996.2 GT3. I had a pumpkin new and never felt comfortable with the suspension. I would not rank the 997.2 RS very high initially due to the problems they had early on, and the rebuilds that occurred. I have not driven a 4.0 yet, but the cars Stout likes seems to mesh with my observations also.
