This is more than you need as you might not be changing the rotors. Mikymu's DIYs are a huge help. https://rennlist.com/forums/997-gt2-...onversion.html

Can't possibly be lighter than ceramic. CRex, if you are still using them would you PM me? My entire setup might be in the air, soon.

I've run one pair of front turbo 350, steels in the rear (997.1), but it has been a long time since pulling hair out over the steel swap, and reading mikymu's thread. If doing it all over again, I'd stick with ceramics. The chances are they were going to serve me, and the next guy, just fine. 30 track events per year, not so much.

Any experiences with Girodisk new 72 vane model? We have a distributor here in Istanbul.

The Finspeed solution didn't work, sorry for the confusion--I have so many rotors lying around that I didn't know I was actually running real Brembo IIIs (which the Finspeeds resemble to a great extent). FWIW, there was a fitment problem with Finspeed's and we just left it at that... car is now running 2010 Cup rotors.

Good rotors. I'm in my 2nd set of the 72 vane 380s. Very light also at 23lbs..

Nissan GT-R is known to be the toughest on its brake due to the weight and speed.

Here is a typical review of how those intensive racing people rated RB brakes Against AP & Alcon on rotors:

Against PFC:

http://www.gtrheritage.com/topic/268...center-mounts/

We have cup rotor size (380mm) made to exact TT offset set, retained at 34mm for a bolt on installation.

If weight is a concern like Mike on his ZR1, after converting to iron, we also offer a 32mm version.

PFC slotted front, OEM rear, plus PFC 08's has served me well on .2 RS for years. Going to PFC slotted rear and deleting E brake.

Is this true as well for the OEM PCCB hats?

That is a great question. If i recall correctly, the service manual stated that when changing out PCCB rotor, the whole assembly needs replacement. It is not recommend to only change rotor. The hat on the PCCB's are stainless s eel for the rear and aluminum for the front hats if i recall correctly.

if you want some rear hats pm me.
