I wonder if BGB could get their hands on some of these throwaway GT3 engines..
The more cheap 2014 Caymans become available the more interesting this gets and I'm sure Porsche will be bumping the HP up for the 991C2S engine with the facelift in a year or 2.

one observation: BMW guys open their hoods after a run, they all (the fast one) had Brembo GT brake kits on the cars, they don't have as much suspension adjustability, and some of them were going into limp mode after a 25 min session.
They were fast, but didn't seem as track ready for sure compared to the gt cars.
My $ for a fun track car is a 996 or 997.1 gt3 or rs.
Other option would be a 996 cup.

Trakcar, if you haven't tried a 996 GT3 you should try it. No nannies to deal with.
