Actually, despite being the same rotors as the Ferrari Enzo and Carrera GT, the ones on the ZR-1 are only around $1,200 each to replace. WAY cheaper than PCCB's and some say better. I think these are either the same as ZR-1 or maybe even a little cheaper. C7 Z06 will definitely have same as last ZR-1 rotors as optional on Z07 package, but I am not sure if the Camaro ones are absolutely identical or not.

My guess is the car makes more HP that they're quoting. Wouldn't be the first time a manufacturer understates the power numbers.
Sounds like a great car and great track option.

Just told the wife I was getting a Z28, as I sold my 10 GT3, 5 months ago.
She looked at me like I was crazy, she said it's a car for teeny boppers---women they just don't understand.
I thought the Z looks cool in white in the pictures because of black accents. But after a Speed Yellow GT3----thinking of flying under the radar with a black Z28, not a daily driver or anything like that. I am guessing that the car will ride as hard as the GT3 and be just as noisy and not sounding as nice. Also scared about that front splitter with speed bumps and the like.
My first car was a 85 IROC Z......the heritage of the Z is calling me.
The GT3 is a special, special car a lot classier, but I have to think the Z should be more or less bulletproof and easier to fix when something goes wrong.

Doubt that the LS7 in the Z28 makes more HP than they are stating. They have been putting these in the Z06 for years and they all have been right around 505hp on the dyno.
LehmanZ06, as far as the splitter is concerned I read somewhere that the designers made it out of plastic specifically to keep replacement costs low in case people hit curbs or have an off. I think they said the replacement cost is only going to be around $300 or something like that.

Considering a cheap 997.1 GT3 (and even some 996 GT3's) are around $75-$80k and these cars are quite a bit slower than the 991 GT3 the argument is quite compelling. If you use it for the track...
