Default really need help for exhaust setup

hi all.

I've been seriously considering exhaust setup for my 2010 gt3.

I've contacted with a very nice supplier several times in this forum.

and finally I am almost at the end of decision.

here is what I've chosen from few other options of m&m setup.

M&M high-performance headers, 100 CEL converters, M&M side muffler bypass pipes, and then RSR straight pipe centerpiece

I do not really care much about how loud this will be, (of course it will be loud)

but I do care about DRONE.

I currently have fabspeed center muffler bypass, and there is drone, not serious but still there.

if I put m&m setup on my car, and it drones worse, I cant go for it.

I thought of keeping stock headers+m&m system but, I'm not really an expert.

so I cant really decide by myself. I really need some advice.

little help here!!

I leave it stock. Sounds great as is for both street/track. No real benefit other than sound. I think sharky bypass or similar is enuf for both street/track. Mike

My car came with these

http://www.fabspeed.com/997-gt3-gt3r...xhaust-system/

I have to say it is a VERY nice exhaust. I'm picky. I love loud exhaust just as much as the craziest person but this one is very nice. under 4k louder then stock but very pleasant sound. On sport or above 4k- louder and very pleasant sound.

No drone either.

Wife likes this exhaust a lot... little does she know its going off for a very loud exhaust (because i'm crazy ) but that's a different chapter coming soon!

Sometimes i do hesitate as i really do like this exhaust...

I'd pass on header replacement (many bucks little bang). Sharkwerks or Akrapovic I would not replace the cats either unless you plan to do some serious track time, also if your car
is mixed use track/street you dont want to go too insane just in case your neighbors are neither deaf nor unarmed!

+1 on full race exhausts (e.g. Akrapovic) and their sound there is absolutely no sneaking off early in the morning for a track day

the neighbours know your schedule.

What is it that you are trying to achieve, and not achieve/avoid (other than droning)?

better sound+performance. still trying to avoid too crazy loud notes.

I want to improve my car, not downgrade..

tough decision.

100 cell cats will need a tune to adjust for o2 sensor errors.

If you are at all sensitive to drone you should try to find a car to ride in.

GMG headers, emptied out the cats, straight pipes with tin can mufflers near the end like cup cars use. Seriously loud, and no drone - but then I am never under 5000rpm.

So your Fabspeed exhaust does not have the side muffler delete part (the 2 pipes that going into 1 and connect up at the cats?
