there is not a lot of performance to be gained (at all, never mind) thru exhaust changes IMO; headers simply change the shape of the torque/hp curves; furthermore the $/bhp is pretty high ...

you really do need to listen to cars with the setup you are considering before dropping major coin on this though!

I'd bin the Fabspeed center and replace it with either SW or GMG ... otherwise look at akropovic or cargraphic, I dont think RL has much experience with M&M AFIAK

I've contacted with a very nice supplier several times in this forum.

and finally I am almost at the end of decision.

here is what I've chosen from few other options of m&m setup.

M&M high-performance headers, 100 CEL converters, M&M side muffler bypass pipes, and then RSR straight pipe centerpiece

I do not really care much about how loud this will be, (of course it will be loud)

but I do care about DRONE.

I currently have fabspeed center muffler bypass, and there is drone, not serious but still there.

if I put m&m setup on my car, and it drones worse, I cant go for it.

I thought of keeping stock headers+m&m system but, I'm not really an expert.

so I cant really decide by myself. I really need some advice.

little help here!!
1) this configuration is likely to be costly

2) this is probably even too loud for a race track (with a Db limit) on the street
buy some really good ear defenders!

3) I would REALLY want to see a dyno chart for this setup before I bought it,
chances are *without* an ECU reprogram the performance will SUCK
somewhere on the bhp/torque curve, and it might suck in a lot of places!

Even with one, I'll guess that the low/mid end will suck (no back pressure)
and as someone pointed out the 100cell cats will probably require ECU
recalibration anyway

p.s
where are you located? - I hope not in Ca, I doubt this would pass smog!

stock headers and cats.

M&M center muffler with side muffler deletes.

done.

Save your money and enjoy what works and sounds great.

(I too had Fabspeed side deletes with stock center and it was drone city.)

If you really want to uncork the beast, stock headers and cats with europipe or sharkwerks track (straight pipes) exhaust.

AWE headers, cats, cans, tips drop 40-50 lbs and add 11 hp with no loss of tq anywhere on the curve - but expensive and drone at 2700-3000 rpm. I eventually took them off for that reason, but I wanted to drive in downtown Philadelphia from time to time without being mistaken for a teenager with too much money. But for that, I'd have lived with the drone in exchange for the spectacular sound at full song.

thank you guys so much for your advice. that truly helped alot for me to decide.

yeah.. I'd probably keep stock headers w/cats.

I see m&m center muffler w/ side delete pipe looks great, but fabspeed maxflo muffler w/side delete looks decent as well.

I have the fabspeed maxflo muffler w/side delete and get a lot of compliments at the track on it. Its aggressive sound but I drive it around town and I can still listen to the radio.

OP I looked into a similar setup with full exhaust, but eventually went with a Sharkwerks race/track exhaust. The sound is phenomenal! You can cruise between 2700-3400 without drone. I hate drone too, but it is not an issue even outside the cruising range. At full song the car absolutely screams. It is loud and it is awesome!

but like others have said, your neighbors will likely hate you. oh well
