Default Mechanic recommendation in So Cal

Can someone recommend a mechanic in So Cal (LA) to do a pre-purchase inspection?

Thanks

My preference for mooty's list would be GSR or Hergenshiemer and I'd add BBI to that list (not sure they do PPI though, typically very very busy).

For a dealer, Circle Porsche did one on a car I sold and they did a very thorough job, the buyer was pleased.

No! Circle is in the LBC (405 & Lakewood blvd). Very small dealer, very good service. Alberto is the service manager and tops. I do not like the other porsche dealers in socal. Too much 'tude.

I'll 3rd GSR - did PPI on my car - very thorough, honest and reasonable pricing.

i went to hergesheimer for a PPI and a leak down. $600 later, one of the techs diagnosed a bad viscous coupling so i passed on the car. a couple days later, the owner put the car on a rack and proved the awd worked. so my point is i won't take any more cars down to hergesheimer for PPI or leak down. peter from stuttcar on walnut in pasadena is good, though this shop is modest.

It's in LA, and it's an F360.

Scratch my reqs. They don't do f-cars that I'm aware. Thought we were talking GTs!

I'm happy to take it for a test run through the santa monica mountains. I'll even do it free of charge and buy the gas. :-)

GMG does some ferrari work. They did my PPI and was overall pleased with the report and findings. (i.e. i've found no surprises in the year I've had the car)
