Wonder if they are going to include a built in fire system as standard equipment?

Lots I imagine for a new block.
With turbo the sky's the limit and we know they go turbo for every model and every engine.

Anything is possible. No manual on GT3...why not a turbo RS?

Porsche has a great history of turbocharged race cars. Ferrari has gone turbo (new California) and will for 459 replacement. McLaren is turbocharged.

It's likely the only way Porsche can remain competitive in performance and emissions.

Many sources have said it might be a turbo.

They've already pissed all over everything else we liked about the GT3 formula....why not, they seem to be on a roll these days.

I've got those seats in my RS... Fantastic support & a lot more comfortable than you'd think, even on long journeys. IF I ever sold my car, yes it's hearsay, I'd pull out these seats & throw in the standard ones the car came with.

Oh I forgot to add.....I can't wait to see what they do with the new RS over the standard GT3.

They are the King Kong 997 seats. Would love them for my RS.
The GT2 seats are nice because you can use harness and they recline but they have airbags and are heavy compared to the clubsport chairs.

I would love to have a set of Clubsport seats.
Matter of fact id trade my GT2's and cash for em.

If they are going to go turbo, they may as well retire the GT3 name and just call it a 911 RS.

Turbo GT3 contradicts the class of racing that the car was originally named after.

maybe they kill the low volume gt2, the one-off gt2/rs and the new RS is a 700HP gt2/rs now just called an RS?

massive aero, 10/13 rims with 265/345 tires

if they could somehow make a high revving turbo engine that sure would at least make it interesting

would probably do a 7:10 ring time

Jeez, I hope not. The last thing we need to see is an excuse for all the RS 4.0 owners to add another layer of bubble wrap to their cars in vacuum storage.

there will never be a turbo GT3.
The normally aspirated Cup and RSR program help feed the GT3 market.

Now that being said, they could delete the GT3RS and GT2 model line and introduce a combined model dubbed merely as the "RS" 991 which would work as turbo.
They could drop the GT3 name altogether on the "RS" model.
