Default Anyone tried SICOM (or similar) CCM/PCCB refurbishment

I tried posting this on the Ferrari forum I usually hang at, but I was recommended to try here as well...

I am not there yet, but sooner or later I will need to place my CCM disks on my 430 Scuderia. There seems to be more and more companies focusing on refurbishment, how well does this work in reality, will they have a as long, longer or shorter lifespan than original?

The prices seems interesting though...

350mm/360 mm Brembo SGL 666,00€
380mm Brembo SGL 720,00€
400mm Brembo SGL 756,00€
Plus VAT...

Something tells me you're not gonna get the warmest of welcome with that username... RL (esp. GT3 forums) is a place of tough love

Thanks for the link :-)
I can understand that the name can be a little intimidating ;-) But I do have a long history with Porsche as well and bought my first 911 back in 1988. I hope you can forgive me for driving a Ferrari as well!

No intimidation whatsoever--I'd love to have a scud myself one day. Been looking in fact and they are very emotive cars. Until I get a drive in the Speciale I'll regard the scud as Ferrari's modern-day pinnacle.

Okay I better stop harping on this topic lest the mods ban me for life...

Hi, so i received my refurbished rotors for my f430 this week, and so far they look pretty awesome. To be honest i did not expect that much from it and thought i would give it a try
but i am really impressed with the looks so far, im no expert but i dont think i could see a difference between the refurbished rotors and brand new ones.
After i called sicom europe, they also offered me their own brake pads, which are made by pagid, so i thought id take a pair of those as well.

I hope it was money well spent. Havent had a chance to get them installed yet but i hope they hold up as well as they promised !

As far as you people say that they have no info about the process on their website ? well i dont know where you guys checked but i got all my info here: Home - SICOM ceramic brakedisc refurbishment

here are some pictures of the rotors and the pads:

Do you know what pads these are. It should be printed on the other side of the pads.

Hey, so i had the refurbished rotors and new pads installed last week, and so far i'm pretty happy.
I dont really feel a noticeable difference between refurbished and OEM, but i guess thats a pretty good thing

The pads say : PAGID T111 on the back and have an " E" number and are road legal in countries where TÜV is needed.
Apparently they are especially developed for ceramic rotors and are exclusively made for sicom by pagid, at least thats what i've been told

How much does it cost to re-finish a CCB rotor using this option?

Any more feedback from these refurbished rotors? New options on the horizon?

Bump! Anybody else used Sicom/ReBrake over the past couple of years? How do the refurbished rotors hold up? Thanks!
