Hey Damage, regarding your PASM warning and the airbag lights. You'll need to make sure the shop has a PIWIS to do this right. Maybe a durametric can do this too.

--I think you said the PASM warning has been on for a while right? Most likely that is just addressing the coding using the file you linked to. That is what my shop did when I replaced the stock with Ohlins. Surprised this wasn't done originally, GMG did the original build right?

--Regarding the airbag. Did this light just come on recently? If so, you probably need to pull the codes with the PIWIS and make sure there isn't an error with one of the front or door airbags and find out what is throwing the code. If there isn't there are a few things you will need to make sure are coded out since you have non-airbag seats. Quick summary is this:

Disable (i.e. change Yes to No) Thorax airbag, driver and passenger, in Airbag module.
Disable AWS (i.e. change Yes to No) in Gateway and Airbag modules.
• Driver Thorax Airbag : No
• Passenger Thorax Airbag : No
• AWS : No

Thanks to Mooty and others for providing this to me a while back when I had some of my coding updated.

Thanks for the info! I'll pass it onto the owner at Red Line to see if he's got the right equipment to do all this.

Yeah the PASM light was on when I bought the car and GMG is the original builder.

For the airbag, it just came on recently.

If redline can't, I know 100% that BBI can do these updates for you. I know its out of your way though. Good luck. "False" warning lights suck.

Black electrical tape is a good "plan b"

Any opinions on Pagid Sport pads? This is primarily for street driven miles mainly.

My OEM pads were made by Pagid.

And, Mooty, next time use sleeping blinders to keep the warning lights from bothering you.

I have found that the cure for squealing brakes are a few hard stops from 40 mph + (After making sure no one is behind you). Do that 3 or 4 times, then continue to drive and cool the pads and rotors down and no more squealing (provided there is still reasonable pad thickness).
The squealing is related to light pressure on the brake pedal, my experience.
