Ah, still, I believe that driving over in a manual would be more fun than in a PdK..
When I see these I deeply regret having sold my 997.1 GT3 in basalt...

Well... driving your GT3 from your state of California to somewhere in the....state of California... isn't that big of a road trip...tough guy
If I had that in my backyard, my GT3 would be seeing a lot if it.... Redwoods...Joshua Tree... PCH...etc. California is truly where a Porsche belongs...

you have a point. Lets call it a mini road trip. It was the wife + the car + myself. Trying to get 3 911's to caravan to Yellow stone from California this spring. Now that will be a road trip!

Now THAT sounds awesome! Beautiful pictures of the Swiss Alps! That must of been magical.

Great thread. Even better pictures. I feel sorry for GT owners who don't have roads like this close to home to go explore in a GT3; even worse for the cars that just sit in the garage like time pieces. These cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed.

Great thread timing. Just got back from the NC mountains and did some great road driving. Weather was wet so had no traffic. TOTD and DIAMOND BACK are fun. Saw a couple of wrecks but if it was easy it wouldn't be fun. Its amazing how our GT cars are great in all conditions. Thanks for posting the great photos.
